I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
Greetings to everyone! I was wondering if anyone here is currently working in qatar (much better if also working in Hamad Hospital) and is also completing the requirements needed by AHPRA? I'm a newbie and I need some guidance as to how to obtain the detailed COE and integrated job description, as well as how I can ask for a certifcate of good standing? thanks
Hi! how can i start the process for ahpra? do i have to register online first or do i just have to gather all requirements then send it to ahpra? also, regarding the int'l criminal history check, when is the best time to do this? as ive read that it might take 2 months and should be prior to ahpra registration? thanks in advance

Hi there,
I think it is better to gather all your requirements first (print agos40 to guide you and all the guidelines @AHPRA's website + you need to inform your school to hold your docs before sending your agos40 form. Coordinate with the school's admin/registrar)
Please be guided that ICHC results will be based on country where you are getting the checks. AHPRA needs the reference number that will be sent to you 10-15mins after your online application @fit2work (where you get your ichc)
Timeline:
Applied for ichc for 2 countries: fit2work 17th June 2016
Results: UK, 28th June
Results: Philippines, 1st July
Hope this will help you. God bless.
will do that thank you @DearZ! btw, in criteria 8, will this come from my school and is there a format also?
Yes there is (letter template for institution provider) but if youll talk to your admin, am pretty sure they know whats on criterion 8... As far as I know, even if we submit this, Filipino RNs will not meet this criterion (it is given). (Hopefully, I am right).
Is that the same template for criterion 2? Are you done with all of your requirements? Have you made a list of all the requirements? If yes, ca you pls send it to me?Thank you!
Please donwload and print AGOS40 form from AHPRA. Requirements/ guidelines are in there, it is in page 19; and in every question theres a note for you to read and follow Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - General Registration Application Forms
Please refer to this as well:
1. Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Meeting the registration requirements
2. Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - Meeting the registration requirements
I would like to share what I did however you need to read (i suggest download and print it so that you can mark/tick it yourself and make some notes) those guidelines, too.
Yes i have submitted my reqs, yet been referred for a bridging program (BP).hopefully, i can join november cohort. God's will.
*gather main dox: aside from the dox provided by the institution [forwarded directly to AHPRA] (school & prc) you still need to produce: diploma + TOR + rating + prc id and the likes.
*employment cert atleast 3mos with your position as a FULL TIME STAFF NURSE (clearly stated) (as far as i know)
*proof of identity + address
*ielts exams or any qualified english proficiency test: oet pte
*ICHC: fit2work (online application, roughly 164Aud per country: Philippines )
PS: Sorry if this aint accurate
