Thank you Em for your reply. Do you already have your AHPRA LOE or are you done with your bridging program?
I got my LOE last june 21 after 3wks. I submitted my documents to AHPRA on May 27 and received their confirmation email on the 30th. They received my COGS from the Phil. on June 7. They didn't ask for anything else.
I'm working on my bridging program, hopefully to start this sept. in Monash
Best of luck! 😊

For those interested, I created a page in FB. Just look for IRON Program for overseas registered nurses. We can also share ideas and experiences both on this site and there as well. We can ask anyone and have answers in a quicker and hassle-free way (if you know what I mean LOL).
thank you so much for creating the fb page.. found it!
I would like to know about ahpra registration. I already passed the OET with B in all subjects and finished my 3 mos hospital experience as icu RN. If given the LOE and hopefully passed the Bridging course do I have great chances to find a job? I'm worried if they will not hire me because I have limited experience? Pls helpm
I have not done any of the immunisations yet as it is confusing me a lot as to which ones I need and which ones I do not. If you could enlighten me with it, it would be fantastic.
from what I understand for IHNA requirements if you were vaccinated with the said diseases all you have to do is the serology test on that specific vaccine to find out if your positive or negative. If positive antibodies then no need to have it again. Then the rest are mandatory for influenza, meningococemia, mrsa, booster for DPT. All the result can send to their email .
Anyway did you recieve your confirmation of admission from them or are you done with initial payment of the 1,500aud$?
I did my bridging in etea (Heidelberg vic campus) and I got my registration in 2 weeks. That was in 2013 though. I heard during that time, some students are having trouble with their registrations already..
Hi there! How are you? I read your post while I was searching for ETEA feedbacks. How was your BP there? Did you had a chance to finish it earlier than 12 weeks? I mean for the clinical placement, did you do early exit? And what visa did you applied back then. I hope you can reply. Thank you in advance!
Thank you tobby_walter,
Yes, I was issued the COA a week or 2 after paying the 1500aud enrolment fee. Are you doing the Feb 6 2017 melbourne intake as well? I might apply for the visa a little bit later, november or december as I need to renew my VISA here in the UK and need to renew my passport too.
