I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
By the way, may I also ask anyone who is aware of the process on how to reimburse the initially charged registration fee upon application to ahpra. Since the registration was refused, I hope to be able to get back the $150 which is still useful money. I was able to read some posts about this matter many pages ago in this thread. Please advise. Thank you.

APHRA will not refund the assessment fee ($220) or application fee ($150) but will, according to the website , APHRA will automatically refund the registration fee ($150)if rejected when closing out your application.

Got this from this thread:
"Hi! Here's a response from my RO regarding the refund:
'In regards to a refund for the registration fee, please respond by email stating that you accept the Boards proposal to refuse registration and referral to a Board-approved Bridging program. A refund request form will then be emailed to you for completion. This can be returned to AHPRA by email.
When re-applying for registration with the Board you will only be required to pay the registration and application fee and not the additional overseas assessment fee. There will be no need to resubmit qualification information previously submitted to AHPRA.' "
Hi when did you submit your application
Hi I submitted my application on March 23 in Melbourne, I received a mail from my case officer in Perth on April 1 to send certificate of good standing.my good standing was received by AHPRA on April 18 but my case officer sent me mail on May 2 that they received all required documents to assess my application. So hopefully it might take 25-30days to get my LOE.
HI everyone , Had applied for RN Registration Bridging PGM in Jan 2016 , April received the Rejection letter from APHRA stating that I have not qualified because last 5 years i was working as an EN - As per the APHRA eligibility criteria you should have worked min 3 months as RN in the last 5 years , They gave me One month time to appeal. Luckily i was working as an RN for the last 4 months after my application and given an appeal letter and waiting for their reply. What is the chances ? any idea ,

Is rejection letter different from refusal & referral to bridging program?
Guys! who here applied for travel visa for the IRON program? Would really love to find out if my mom can sponsor me since i quit my job and cannot declare that i'm employed. would it be enough to supply a bank statement and certificate from my mom's account and an affidavit of support? and does anyone have an idea as to how much the account should have deposited?
Please please please.. I hope someone can help. I start at IHNA on June 20th and I have yet to send my visa application.

Sweety7,
I sent it last March 17 and my RO emailed to acknowledge the receipt of my application on March 23. But they had to wait for the other documents which were required to be sent separately (i sent it through registered mail that's why there was a 2-week delay) before they started the assessment. In my case, my RO emailed again first week of April to confirm that they have all my requirements on hand already and that they will be informing me of the assessment outcome asap. I received my referral letter for a BP yesterday. So roughly, it took a little over a month from the time of receipt of my reqts, but less than 25 days from the start of actual assessment.
