ACFE will give you a head's up about your placement a week before its commencent. My accommodation was in the city for a month since the school is located in the heart of the city. After they have announced the location of our placement, I rushed to find a place near the placement. There's so many ways you can find accommodation such as through the internet, forums and word-of-mouth among your classmates. In my case, I found a place online. You can use websites like gumtree, flatmates or expatau.
I really appreciated your generosity in giving out information and experience you had. If I would have more questions, I hope you would not mind extending more. God bless you always.
Hi. I will be for ACFE April intake. I am waiting for the COE and hopefully start applying for a visa next week. What about yours?

Hi rsanti!
I would just like to ask if the requirements "Program of study from CHED" and
"Certificate from school that you successfully completed Pharmacology subject" are new requirements for the bridging program? I have a friend who wants to do bridging soon.
Thanks so much in advance! :-)
Hey everyone,
Not to brag and all, but I'd like to share the timeline of my application to encourage others who are currently waiting for theirs too.
Nov 7, 2015 - Ielts taken
Nov 23 - Ielts results
Nov 24 - Applied necessary docs from school and PRC
Dec 5 - fit2work application
Dec 7 - Requirements from school and PRC were sent to AHPRA
Dec 10 - Fit2work ICHC result
Dec 11 - Fit2work ICHC result for current country of residence
Dec 12 - AGOS 40 sent together with current nursing registration and COGS
Dec 17 - Receipt of application for registration by AHPRA
Jan 3, 2016 - Mail from RO stating that my credentials are being assessed for suitability
Jan 29 - AHPRA: Assessment outcome
Between Dec 17 and January 3, I have called AHPRA following up my application. This is actually the waiting time I was worried about as I haven't got a letter from an RO yet. The CS informed me that my application was being reviewed. Take note that a lot of scheduled holidays happened during this time.
I went to the Philippines during a 5 day off from work from Nov 23-27 just to have this taken care of. The RN registration and COGS of my current place of practice was of a different story. Everyone can apply for themselves provided that all the requirements are available and with all the help here in allnurses.com.
Godbless every RN's. :)
P.S. Please excuse the brevity, spelling and punctuations. :)
Hi there
just want to share with you that we received the assessment outcome from AHPRA informing us that my wife's application is NOT eligible for registration, instead, she was given a referral letter to take a NMBA-approved bridging program!! Thats exactly 25 calendar days from the time that they received her application!
To God Be The Glory!!

Hi @rsanti! Congrats on the good news! Which state did you send your application to? Also, does AHPRA really need the Program of Study from CHED and the proof of taking Pharmacology class in the Philippines?
Thanks again! :-)

Hi Lala, thank you! I sent it to their Melbourne office last December 23, they acknowledged receipt last January 5. Yes I submitted those 2 evidences to satisfy criterion 6 & 8.
Hi! I am interested in the Iron program in Australia but before I want to pursue this, I would like to try a different pathway by enrolling in Aged care and followed by occupational english so that I could save enough money for the iron program. My concern here is that, can I register in Ahpra while im at Aus per say.
