Part 2 thread New grad Filipino nurse wanting to work in Australia/New Zealand
I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
I actually requested mine to be sent directly and showed them AHPRA's form with the specific instruction. I just paid them the required courier fees since they usually send other documents as well. So, the clerk explained that they tied up with a courier for that matter. And a few days later, AHPRA received it.
hello all! just wanted to ask how you mailed your good standing certificate. when i went to PRC last month, they said they no longer mail directly to ahpra. so i mailed it myself, but since prc did not give me an "official" envelope, i used an ordinary white envelope, and wrote (by hand) the address of ahpra. i'm a little apprehensive about what i did, so wanted to ask how you guys did it. thanks in advance!
I suggest you follow the process as required by AHPRA, otherwise they might question it against Filipino applications. Even if they do receive the letter you posted, they still do have the prerogative to accept it or not. They will scan it into the system, and will say so upon enquiry.
Hello All,Is it possible to get the full assessment with ANMAC completed before I start the bridging course?
Nope, unfortunately. Initial registration from the Philippines will not make you eligible for full assessment. Nurse with initial registration from Canada, European Union, Hong Kong, Ireland, Singapore, United Kingdom or United States | ANMAC | Australian Nursing & Midwifery Accreditation Council
Hi guys I have a small doubt .... Is it necessary to state no of hours worked per year with dates or just no of hrs per week is enough in statement of service letter.
Just state the total number of hours worked, and the duration of your stay in that certain area.
Example:
June 15, 2012 to October 13, 2015 - Medical Ward -10800 hours
Thanks a lot ,but I have just sent no of hrs worked per week, and I dint mention the hrs worked per year is that alright? my hospital HR is very strict and he said he wil not issue any letter once again.
Maybe for as long as they included how long you have worked in the hospital, it will be okay.

It's not unusual. They would just issue the certificate and the delivery is on you. What we do is just send it sealed in an official PRC envelope. No return address.
