Hi guys! I'm thinking of applying for registration in Australia on my own. I've taken and passed my IELTS already. I'm betting on La Trobe Uni. Does anybody know cheap "bed space" near their melbourne campus? I heard that the cost of living in AU is quite high.BTW, does anyone have the same pursuit as mine (going to Australia alone)? I'm quite anxious and still undecided if I should ask assistance from an agency or just do everything on my own. Any advice? Thanks!!!
The IRON progrom of LTU is not in Melbourne but in Bendigo. Many nurses did not ask the aid of any agency and yet they were successful with the entire process on their own. If you are planning for LTU you can ask the assistance of IDP and their service is totally free of charge since LTU is one of their affiliate schools.
God Bless!
Hi all. Im working as a nurse in Saudi but my license appears nurse technician. Do i need to have it change to a nurse or its ok to apply using it? Im just thinking that that title willl appear on the certificate of good standing,so im just worried.
Hello,
I am working in Saudi too and that is my dilemma as well. There are only 2 options for the registration in the Saudi Council: 1. Nurse Technician 2. Nurse Specialist. We couldn't be nurse specialist for sure. Anyhow, we are registered nurses in the Philippines and we will see what APHRA will have to say about this. :)
To cranberry: but we have an option to upgrade our license as nurse specialist right? Only thing is its pricey because we need to complete their requirements, pay the necessary fees and take another exam
I don't have any idea if we could upgrade our license to nurse specialist. One co-worker went to the Ministry of Health and pleaded to have her license changed as nurse specialist but I think she was required to submit Master's Degree. This is not an accurate information though as there is no proof to its truthfulness. I have to ask Saudi Council first. I am willing to take the exam though if they don't need a master's degree.

I have actually read about this thing about saudi council that you have an option to change the title of your license. the requirements that we need; 1. 60 CME hours 2. pass the applicaition form 3. pay the applicable fee 4. sit for another exam. one of my colleague did this but I'm just not sure if she had her license changed already. i'll try to ask her. :)
Thanks, briansnow, ill probably remind them next week. I think beauex and another one is for the same intake too.Hi Eyem8791 I already have my unconditional offer from them... just need to decide if i'll take it... assessment will take probbly a month more or less, just update them eveyrtime... :)
