Hey!
I decided to start a page for new grads applying to the Medstar Georgetown Nurse Residency for February 2021.
I just applied to their July 2021 start date. It opened in early in Dec and I completely missed it. I hope I'm not too late. I want to be in their NICU so bad and if not that then other perinatal units or peds. The applications says there are only a few spots in those units so I'm so nervous. Anyone else applying for July 2021??

I applied when it opened up for the same cohort! I’ve been in contact with the recruiter and she said they aren’t beginning to review applications until this week so everyone could have one month to apply. So you should be fine! They haven’t started any of the process yet.

I'm in the process of applying there right now! I was kinda debating if I should because they don't specify the start date. But I guess it doesn't hurt to just apply! How about you?

I applied at the beginning of December and got an email yesterday for a questionnaire of my preferences. I emailed back asking the timeline but haven’t heard back yet.

Hey! Same here. I had an interview of WHC but still have not heard from GT ? I heard GT takes all the applications and then separates them based on what units the applicant wants. Sounds like the tedious process so I think it may take a while. Hopefully we hear back soon!

How was the interview at WHC? I have mine Thursday! Super nervous because I heard they rarely accept new grads into the ER. Did they tell you turn around time? Thanks!

Hey! I had my interview on Monday and got a call this morning with an offer! The residency program seems like a really great supportive environment. I'm a little concerned about the salary since the position is for mixed nights/days. Does any one know any one who has been in the new grad program previously?
