Medication Pickup Letter

Does anyone send letters home regarding medication pickup? This year my principal wants me to schedule appointments for parents to pick up medications.  I am trying to figure out how to word the medication pickup letter including picking up medications by appointment this year.  Does anyone have a similar letter?

I would create a Sign Up with Sign Up Genius - its free with a link in your email.

Please schedule a time to pick up any medication, supplies etc that belongs to your child (insert signup genius link).  For safety reasons, I am unable to send medication home with your student.  Medication not picked up by (insert date/time) will be disposed per district policy.

I had great success last year when we shut down just asking them to e-mail me with a time that worked for them and would jot it in my dayplanner. (They were given 2 days to pick from.)  Only 2 out of the 50+ people picked the exact same time, so I just asked the 2nd person if they could do 5 minutes later as their time, since pick up is just a quick signature.   No one ever wants to sit and chat with me, LOL.

I did similarly, but I had parents phone me and I ran it outside right in front of the school.  We were afraid to let anyone inside.  I gave 2 days, 4 hour time slot.  Everyone made it work.
