I was originally undecided whether to give shot to a medical terminology in summer, well I took a risk and enrolled. Im happy about that:monkeydance: This class is hard to some extent...so many unfamilar words to catch on...I think that all schools should have mandatory pre-requisite or requisite to complete Medical terminology...Its really big help I think while you are in nursing school...and as a argument I might add that there is a girl in my class that got kicked out of the nursing program last year do to the theory part (foundation of nursing) So since she went to the program right out of high school she didnt have any medical experiences. She hopes that this particular class will help her to success in nursing foundations. I think it will.

It's not required at my school either...but I am deff. taking it..along with other classes that I'm sure will help! If I get accepted, I have to wait 5-6mon till the next semester starts...so might as well take some classes...

I took med terminology many years ago as a part of my medical secretary course. I LOVED it!!!
I just found my text/workbook for that course and am now rereading it in prep for my nursing course in September :)
