Hello guys,
Did any of you take medical terminology in prep for nursing school , did you find it beneficial?

Yes, I took medical terminology prior to nursing school. I think it is one of the most important and beneficial classes you can take! In nursing schoo, while other students were struggling to pronounce, understand, and remember medical terms, I quickly knew what the terms meant and was able to pronounce them easily. This made my nursing classes a lot easier, especially pathophysiology. It also made clinical rotations a lot easier, because I was able to quickly read and understand chart notes in the hospital. This is one of best investments of your time for nursing school prep
