Medical City October 2020 Nurse Residency

Hello everyone!

I just want to start a thread for those who have applied to the nurse residency program at Medical City. I applied to several locations and I am interested in several specialties. What about you? Please post if you hear anything ?

I didn't receive one for the last cohort.  Ut I only applied to the one.  I just logged in and saw "not under consideration" LOL. Not even the courtesy of a thanks but no thanks LOL.

Has anyone heard from specialties other than PCU, med surg, OR, or ER?

I was offered BMT at Med City Dallas on Friday.  I see that Tyfuturenurse was also offered so it looks like we will be nurse buddies!  Looking forward to meeting you.

Was wondering if anyone has heard back from medical city childrens? I haven’t heard anything since applying but it shows the application as open still

Ya'll the wait is so hard.  I still haven't heard anything!  I'm beginning to wonder since we are supposed to start next month.  I know it's a process but dang I'm impatient LOL.  Ready to move on to the next chapter of my life.  Also, I feel the august cohort opened and closed fast?  Anyone have updates?

I have applied to several locations but no interviews yet. I wonder if they are only looking at people who have already passed NCLEX and are fully licensed.

I was hired at medical city children's over a week ago if that helps any ? good luck to everyone!

I have a feeling they have probably done most of the interviews and offers already since we are closing in on the start date. But I see on FB that they just said they have a few openings to fill at North Hills and Arlington (specialties not listed). So things are still possible!
