Medical City Nurse Internship July 2020

Hey, y'all! Starting this thread for those who have applied to the Medical City Nurse Internship starting July 2020. I thought we could keep each other updated :). I applied to Medical City Dallas and interviewed for the BMT and Oncology unit at the Intern Bash. Waiting to hear back, but I saw on the Facebook page that it may be around 2 weeks before we are contacted.

Did anyone here interview with Pedi CICU at Medical City Children's? They said they'd send out decisions on Monday but I'm still anxiously waiting.

I'm guessing no one else got the message about offers being cancelled and resent in June? Kind of worries me and I don't know what to do. She told me I did not lose my offer, but will be getting another one in June. I don't know whether to rely on this or to keep searching for other options

Thats very odd! I'm sorry that's happening to you. Which location and what unit?

How long was the turn around between interview and job offer? I'm waiting for a notification from another location but just want to know what might be a reasonable amount of time to wait before following up! ?

I was called the Friday before last for a phone interview, then had my interview last Wednesday, and was offered a position this past Friday! I didn’t interview with them at the bash. The recruiter personally reached out to me ? everything happened within a week!!

I was first contacted via email to schedule a phone interview & at the end of the call she offered me an in person interview. I was contacted via phone about the offer!

I just looked at my application portal and the submission status was changed to "not hired" yesterday. So I guess that means I didn't get the job and will be waiting for a rejection email on Friday haha.
