Hey, y'all! Starting this thread for those who have applied to the Medical City Nurse Internship starting July 2020. I thought we could keep each other updated :). I applied to Medical City Dallas and interviewed for the BMT and Oncology unit at the Intern Bash. Waiting to hear back, but I saw on the Facebook page that it may be around 2 weeks before we are contacted.

If anyone wouldn't mind sharing- what kind of questions did the interviewers ask?

I attended the bash and had an interview with Lewisville and Dallas ED. Lewisville called me that night and invited me to an on-site interview the next day but I do not think that I got the job. They said they would notify in 48 hours but haven’t heard back. However, I just got an email from Amy today to set up an interview with Dallas ED. Hoping the one with Dallas will go well and this job search will come to an end.

Did you back from Dallas ED? I also interviewed there this past Thursday.

At my Tele interview for the Medical City Heart Hospital this past Monday I was mostly asked behavioral questions. Of course I was asked about why I'm interested in that unit but then I was asked to describe how I would deal with a difficult patient, a time when I had to think on my feet/make a difficult decision, and a time when I doubted my decision to become a nurse. Those are just a few I remember. Good luck!

You can always email or call your recruiter!! ? i should hear back from heart hospital by next week and if i don’t I‘llcontact Amy!

Did anyone else who got a job offer from medical city receive a text or email saying they’re cancelling all requisitions and sending out offers again in June?

Had my interview and peer interview with Medical City today. I think it went well. Anxiously awaiting Friday when they say we should hear back.
