Medical City Dallas

Hello all;) I am relocating to Dallas in two weeks (ahhh!!!). So I have been on the job hunt for about a month now. I interviewed at Parkland for the ER nurse residency already, but havent heard anything yet. I applied to medical city, and wanted to see if anyone has heard anything from them, or can give any info on the nurse internship process. I was researching the hospital and really like what I am seeing so far. I really hope to work there.

Thanks! I lived and worked in the LA area for about a year. I considered going back there, but the cost of living is so high that I just made enough to cover the bills. Dallas was something new and the cost of living is lower. I hope you get to interview at Medical City. Have you tried UT Southwestern? I know they hire new grads, but I am not sure how many or when they hire them. I saw that you have a pretty academic background, so that might be a plus for you with a big academic medical center like that. Let us know what happens!

Thanks for bringing UT Southwestern to my attention. I just got asked to interview there. I am praying that I get the opportunity to work there. With it being a big academic and research center, it is more my speed.
