Medical City Children's Dallas

Just wondering what is it like working at Medical City in Dalls? What are the patient ratios any department. I am thinking of applying having seen some openings. Any input much appreciated. The good and the bad. How do they traet their staff? I read somewhere that it was voted the best place to work? Is that true for those already there?

I did my Pedi rotation in the PICU at Medical City Dallas. Everyone got along well, and worked well together...MD/RN/RT, etc.

As far as employer/employee...I didn't sense any negativity, nor hear any. Hopefully someone will see this that can answer that part for you.

If it wasn't so far away from where I live, I'd apply there when I graduate.

In the PICU, there was one RN to 2 pts.

I wish I had some info go share. I did a student clinical there years ago and I thought it was a fine place but peds just wasn't my thng. My neighbor's sister works there as a RN and loves it. But I have no idea about pay or ratios. Good luck!
