Hello everyone! I am a second semester nursing student. At my college second semester is med-surg and mother/baby. In first semester we had foundations of nursing and fundamentals of nursing, which I did pretty good in. I got a B+ in both classes and had a 93.6 but of course they don't round up lol. Anyways, this semester I seem to be really struggling in med surg. I've been studying the same way I was before but I'm not doing as well on the tests. The first test I got an 82 (anything below a 78 is failing at my school). I am currently waiting on test scores of my second med surg test but the whole class seems to think they failed. I found it to be wicked hard too..so I'm pretty worried. I am on nights, but a friend of mine heard one of the day teachers talking (we all get the same test regardless) and apparently their class average for this test was in the 60's. It's probably similar for us on nights! Does anyone have any suggestions on how to improve my test scores? I read the assigned pages in the book, my teacher's PP, made my own study guide asking myself questions, and did practice questions in the med surg and fundamentals of success books. I don't know what I'm missing!😠Any thoughts/tips/tricks are greatly appreciated! TIA! â¤ï¸
