Do you guys know if the question Other Languages Spoken refers to what other language I speak or what other language my emergency contact speaks?

I think that refers to us, not the emergency contact

Do you guys just list things for hobbies and community services or do you also include a short description for each bullet point?

I include a short description with each bullet point. I had posted a screenshot a bit earlier if you would like to refer to mine and get an idea !

Hi!

Sorry I meant in the actual application.

Hi guys!

So I finished my app, haven’t submitted it yet. When I go to the review portion it says “warning” please ensure you have completed the video and timed writing section by clicking the box. When I click the preview application proof it says that I have confirmed that I have done it because I did click the box and its saved but the warning won’t go away. Should I just submit it?

So basically what I did was copy and past the sections from my resume that contain those details into those spaces, loll

You should still submit it, because if anything you would get an email from admissions stating that something is missing. If you don't get it then you should be fine ! And of course you could always email them and see if its a glitch in their system.

Hi everyone! Late to the game here. So I'll be graduating college with a lower GPA, however I've taken courses previously at another college with pristine grades. Unfortunately, my college does not factor in courses take at other schools when calculating final GPA. Does anyone know if Columbia would take my courses into account from my previous college in calculating my undergrad GPA?

I think they'll definitely notice if you've taken rigorous courses, such as science courses, and if any of the prereqs were taken in the pervious college; however, I don't think any of the grades will be calculated into your GPA.
