Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

I just heard back today! They said they are admitting people off the waitlist as of tomorrow

Just got a call- wanted to ask about my plans and said that they are admitting people off the waitlist tomorrow, not sure if that was a blanket call for everyone or just the students they plan to admit?

I didn’t receive a call so maybe it was just students they’re planning to admit?

I did receive a call from them! It was from Oscar and he was asking if I had any questions and about what my plans are etc

I’m trying to think optimistically abt why I didn’t get a call — hoping because I emailed them stating they’re my first choice and I’d love to attend if given the opportunity that maybe that’s why they didn’t call me ?

They might still call tomorrow!! He mentioned that they’re gonna be contacting folks the next couple days so keep your head up!! I’m sending positive vibes your way ?

As an out of state student my main concerns were finding housing this late in NYC and what the curriculum structure would look like! So I asked him what that would look like bc honestly those are deciding factors for me. I also told him that I’d been waiting on hearing back as they’re my #1 choice and they’re the only school I’ve accepted my waitlist at. I’d been waitlisted at JHU as well but turned it down for Columbia so I’m hoping this means good news!
