Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

I havent gotten anything yet, I am not even on the this wave of waitlists... I think I am rejected ?

got an email saying my application status was updated at around 1:30 pm est

I also have not heard anything. Stay positive if you can I know it’s difficult

new thing to be nervous about: last year I remember reading that CUSON didn’t accept anyone from their waitlist haha ? honestly I just want to be accepted anywhere at this point

I'm sure it's just taking a while to get through everyone. I definitely wouldn't take a lack of email to be rejection!

I completely agree it’s just a longer waiting game now. Couldn't they have told us in Jan if we were waitlisted like come on.

I am wondering if anyone was accepted for MDE instead of MDE/DNP (if they applied to it) I know sometimes they do that too

and now theyre saying the waitlist is open until May? Then if I get in I have to find an apartment, sign a lease, up and move myself to NYC all within a month? This is actually cruel. The entire second round was basically a waitlist. Waitlist shouldn't be a thing, I'd prefer a rejection.
