MDC Nursing spring 2014

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

I went today to my primary physician to do all my tests. He told me that he doesn't need to give me any document for the TB test. That he only needs to state it in the health record document just put the results and date. Has anybody here had this same situtation? The health record document says results attached...

At the health center through MDC they just write on the health record document the school gives us. They put it there, sign and date it. The only extra documentation they give you is the drug results which you are not supposed to open the envelope, just to turn it in closed.

What if your drug results did not come in a closed envelope? I went to my regular Physician to get all my test and she only provided me a print out of all my results from Quest Diagnostic.

My physician said that once he gets it he"ll take a look at it and then he will put it in an envelope which he would sealed and put confidential... Ask your physician if he could do that for you...

I got my tests done at my PCP as well and he also did not give me any documentation regarding the TB test other than him marking Negative on the schools paperwork, HOWEVER, when I turned in the paperwork at MDC on Tuesday she lady told me I needed a letterhead from the doctors office stating the date the TB shot was administered, the date it was read, and whether it was positive or negative. She pointed out that on the paperwork we turn it, it states that we need to attach documentation regarding the TB test.

I did mine at walgreens and they gave me the result and date the test was done also how long did you wait to get the second test at walgreens they told me you are supposed to wait 7 days between the two tests
