So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.
So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.
Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!
From what I understand it is you GPA from your sciences and your teas score. The formula from other threads isScience GPA times 10 and Teas score times .6, then the two numbers are added together.
Yes it stated on their website. Its your gpa from your natural science courses plus your teas scores.
So I checked my degree audit this morning to see if it would say I was admitted into the program or not. But it just says transitional pre-select program status: active, and program admit: yes. I have a feeling it means absolutely what I want it mean. So the adrenaline is kickng in and my heart starts racing. Excitement right? NOT?
So I check previous printed degree audits that I currently have, they all say the same thing. I have officially lost it  smh
Btw they are using your as program gpa because that is the gpa that has all of the pre-req calculated.

I did the same exact thing a few days ago
Broward College just had their orientation this morning. So at least students have the rest of the year to make plans and get their personal affairs in order before Jan. Their application period is open until all seats are filled, I've seen stories of students submitting their application 6 days before orientation and 20 mins later return home to check their status online stating they have been admitted. They have until Dec to have all forms and required courses complete, i.e. OSHA, HIV/AIDS, HIPPA, domestic violence, medical errors and CPR.
What sucks for us is that some of us will try to get these things out the way prior to orientation. It maybe difficult to accomplish when you only have a few weeks before your designated orientation date. Not to mention the fees that are due so close to the holidays.

I called the advisement office today to see if I will get a different answer, and the lady told me that we should receive the email in two weeks, but also advised me to check my email and my spam every day. I got a feeling that it will be today.
