Hi everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for applicants of the nursing program at Miami Dade College for Fall term 2017. I'm currently working on my last prerequisites and will be finished this semester. I plan on taking the HESI A2 in January and applying for the Generic and Part time tracks.
Multiply your Hesi score by 0.6 and multiply your your SCIENCE gpa by 10, and add them to get your cumulative score.
Following this, my cumulative score is 84.5%. I hope it's high enough to be accepted. I applied to both generic full time and part time options, but will be choosing the part time if accepted to both.
I've been considering it. I recently left my part-time hospital job during the Spring semester. They increased my hours and weren't willing to be flexible with my schedule, so I left in order to focus on my remaining prereqs. If I can find a good hospital job that would allow me to work 10-15 hours a week, then that would be perfect. I think 20 hours is doable too. It just depends on how everything falls into place.

Thanks for the positive vibes. I feel good about my individual and overall stats, but an official acceptance letter/email is what seals the deal. The wait continues...
