Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for applicants of the nursing program at Miami Dade College for Fall term 2017. I'm currently working on my last prerequisites and will be finished this semester. I plan on taking the HESI A2 in January and applying for the Generic and Part time tracks.

You will get accepted think positive. You gat this

Thanks for the positive vibes. I feel good about my individual and overall stats, but an official acceptance letter/email is what seals the deal. The wait continues...

I understand we all will nervously wait.

Multiply your Hesi score by 0.6 and multiply your your SCIENCE gpa by 10, and add them to get your cumulative score.

Following this, my cumulative score is 84.5%. I hope it's high enough to be accepted. I applied to both generic full time and part time options, but will be choosing the part time if accepted to both.

I think I've chewed off all of my fingernails already lol.

my cumulative score is an 80.5% I'm so nervous, its so low compared to other terms. Hopefully this terms pool will be in my favor. Good luck everyone!

I'm praying so hard for this!! i hope we all get in

This wait is killing me. I'm so impatient. Praying these emails start rolling out soon!

I know right. I am praying all results are POSITIVE no REJECTIONS we have come to far to get disappointed now.

based on this my cumulative score is 91.7. hope i get in for fall. I originally wanted to do online, but my best friend talked me into face to face. So we'll be together this fall God willing

Anyone planning on working while in school?

I've been considering it. I recently left my part-time hospital job during the Spring semester. They increased my hours and weren't willing to be flexible with my schedule, so I left in order to focus on my remaining prereqs. If I can find a good hospital job that would allow me to work 10-15 hours a week, then that would be perfect. I think 20 hours is doable too. It just depends on how everything falls into place.
