NEW QUESTION!!
So, are we getting new ID's with the Med Campus as our campus?
I know it is something of little significance but I had my name changed and I am using the old name with the North Campus as my campus. I figure we need our ID to get around too.. just a side question of many that I am thinking about

:) it is the same ID. But we will be getting ID's/name tags for some clinicals.
On Eagles Wings,
My friend & I met you a few weeks ago at the library.
I see you have started this thread specific to the generic full time!
I might peek in here every now and then.
Maybe I will read & get some TIPS on how to survive RN school?!
The Full-Timers will be going a bit faster than us Part-Timers.

Hey! How are you two ladies doing??? Are you guys as excited as I am??? LOL :) I hope you will find useful info here! I am just trying to get all my stuff done before orientation. I'm also trying to get my life/house/junk straightened out before Aug 22 AKA the first day of the rest of our lives LOL!
btw did your friend join allnurses (aka the dark side)?? if she hasn't convince her! tell her how awesome it is on here

I'm excited, but I'm terribly nervous as well! Tomorrow is the cpr class, so it feels like I'm finally "starting" on my quest in nursing. The class is making being a nurse feel more "real." It's bringing reality to my door. WOw, there's only a little over a week before orientation!!
Am I the only one that is feeling nervous?:heartbeat
On Eagles Wings,
We are doing ok. Both of us are taking classes and are hectic.
We both have talked about "cleaning out the home" before RN school starts.
I think she has made progress.... I haven't. My hope to get that done was my week off between classes (MDC & BCC are not insync). Did not happen!
No, I don't think she intends to join AllNurses.com. She likes to lurk (LOL).
Hey, whatever works for everyone!
I suspect my friend and you will see more of each other than my friend and me.
You two are both doing the full-time, while I'm doing the part-time program.
Excited? I'm too busy trying to accomplish my micro lab class. I made the mistake of taking it at BCC. My professor is really nice, and he admits that BCC requires him to be "super tough". He laughed... he said he taught the SAME class at FAU and it was MUCH EASIER. So, C'est La Vie. I know BCC likes to pride themselves on being the "most challenging". I should have known better than try to take micro lab at BCC.
Having a bad day today. Went to tutor today... must have left my lab manual there?! A few hours ago, I was ready to study again (at home) and voila! No lab manual. I'm going to cry if someone didn't turn it in! I will go first thing Saturday morning and PRAY I find it. I'M VERY CONCERNED.
Sincerely,
FEM

I have CPR class tomorrow too. Are you going to take it at the medical campus? If so, let's meet before it starts so we have a friend in class. :)

OH and i thought i should add. if you do not like cooking like i do, get a slow cooker or a little electric griddle with a grill add on. it will save you time and make everything yummy and tender. i have a tiny slow cooker just for me. it was ten bucks at walmart.

If you have ondemand there are lots of exercise videos. They have dance, cardio kickbox, yoga, etc. Just search the health & fitness section. There's no extra charge as long as you subscribe to basic ondemand.

I had the SAME ISSUE:uhoh3:..mine said Homestead campus and I freaked because I live in Davie and my family is in Hollywood!
I spoke to Romalia (her contact info is all the way at the bottom of the checklist with what we have to get done). I also showed up to the advisement office and had it changed finally, there. Both Romalia and advisement said the same thing: It could be taken care of at orientation and that it was done by the address that you had on file with MDC when they did the acceptance emails.
Obviously, mine as well as yours should have been Med Campus from the beginning but they DID make errors with that.
My suggestion to you is, go to the advisement office and tell them that you need to change campuses . If you cannot get to campus call Romalia and she can help you. She is really sweet and helpful
