Did anyone have to get the MMR or varicella vaccine? I'm having a hard time finding a place that has it. My PCP and local pharmacies did not carry it.

I am getting the MMR vaccine on Tuesday at the college clinic. It is 90 dollars.

does anybody knows if we have to wait until orientation to pick up classes? I am doing my CPR with nursing unlimitted and i also know miamicpr.net has classes daily and is part online part face-face

I was advised that we have to wait to be cleared in orientation to register.

Hey guys I have books if needed email me at [email protected]

Has anyone looked at the schedule yet? Based on the schedule I would choose to have class the following days & times:

Tuesday 11-3:30 (NUR1025 & NUR1025C)

Wednesday 11-12:25 (NUR1142)

Thursday 1-1:50 (NUR1060C)

Anyone find a better combination?

Hey!

guys if you have not applied for fafsa or already did and you were accepted to MDC, make sure to put in Miami Dade medical campus as the school that should be receiving your financial aid information. This will make things easier for us when we're finally ready to start and not have to worry about deadlines or extensions when it comes to payments for classes.

That sounds like an awesome schedule!

Hey Gobulls,

you mentioned earlier on this thread that your titers weren't high enough so you had to get the vaccine? my titers were positive but barely making it and I noticed when I submitted the documents on complio they approved all my documents except the mmr, it's still pending review. Do you know if there's a specific average they want or as long as it's positive it's ok?

Im just paranoid because everything was approved and those were overlooked.

If its positive I would think it is fine. Mine wasn't positive it was equivocal.
