MD Anderson Grad Residency Program

Hello all.

Thought I would start a topic to discuss the MD Anderson Cancer Center's Grad Residency Program that is to start on June 25, 2012 and July 09, 2012. The application deadline was on April 27, 2012. Let's keep each other updated and post when MD Anderson starts calling for interviews, etc. Good luck to everyone that applied!!

Congrats!!! I haven't heard yet but im staying near the phone. When do you start? What unit? Its so exciting!!!

Thank you rsh24bsn! I start July 9th , Mixed Hematology Unit (my friend had her clinicals there last semester and loved it, so I'm very excited), day shift . Yes, it was a very random call at 10 am on Monday but hope you hear great news soon!

ivetter, i have my screening appointment tomorrow. so far, the email said to expect to be there for 2 hours to get drug test, tb screen, fill out paperwork for hire, direct deposit, etc. It also said to bring immunization record, otherwise they may have to draw titers and it will take longer. They're also going to take a picture for ID.

Still nothing. Hopefully by Friday because I've gotten calls for other interviews but im scared to do it cause I want this job SO much

Have not heard anything either. Maybe Friday? You should still go on/schedule the interviews and if you get offered a position at MD Anderson, you can explain your situation to the other hospitals, I'm pretty sure they will understand. I am still applying to other hospitals as well because I'm scared of putting all my eggs in one basket.

good idea, im interviewing Monday at clear lake regional. But hopefully we get a call before then
