Published

I just got accepted into Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) for their FNP program (Worcester campus, online though)!! So excited! Is there anyone else that will be attending in May for this program?

I logged into the bill page and I don't have a statement. Am I the only one who has no statement?

I just logged into everything to review things and I could view my statement. Keep checking and hopefully it appears for you.

I just checked and I got in :) nice to know I have extra money to pay off my new computer, desk, chair and books :) Only a few more weeks until we are saying "what the hell did we get ourselves into?" Lol

See you all next week!!!!

Hi!

I have an interview next week for the May 2017 FNP class...I was wondering if any of you could speak to your past year in the program/what does a typical week consist of?

I'm considering two other options. How is the online format? A lot of weekly papers? Do you feel as though the professors are knowledgeable and helpful?

Thanks so much!!

Hi Tiffer!

I enjoy the program! They offer online format or on campus. I'm in the online program as it works better with my lifestyle. Our class just started clinicals this week! It's a serious and tough program, which is a good thing, and you do have to put work in! The instructors are prompt and very knowledgeable. Like most advanced nursing programs there are papers (certainly not weekly), but not extremely unreasonable! Some courses are only papers or projects, while others are exams. You will have discussions in each class too. You'll just have to organize yourself and prioritize. You get what you put in! It's an excellent school with a good reputation and they take that seriously. You will be taught well! Good luck in your interview!!

Thank you so much for your response! I too am looking into the online format as I have to continue to work part time and be a mom :)

You're welcome!! It works better for me for the same reasons. I just went part time for the remainder of the program.

Im also waiting to interview for the may 2017 cohort. I sent you a PM. Good luck Tiffer!

Hi Susie!

Just got your private message - I can't respond privately yet because I haven't posted to enough forums I guess? My interview is tomorrow (Thursday), I will let you know how it goes! I applied a few months ago and was told I would hear back for an interview in December so I'm glad that I finally got one!

I'm considering Chamberlain College of Nursing Online too as it is very flexible (ie. if I had to take 8 wks off for my daughter, work, etc I could and resume immediately as classes are always offered). But, Chamberlain can't give me a boards pass rate yet so I'm skeptical.

I will be in touch!

Tiffany

Good luck! My interview was moved up to Monday! Let me know how yours goes :)

Hey Tiffany! Hope your interview went very well! If you have a chance this weekend to let me know about it, that would be awesome :)
