I just got accepted into Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) for their FNP program (Worcester campus, online though)!! So excited! Is there anyone else that will be attending in May for this program?

Specializes in Neuro/NSGY, critical care, med/stroke/tele. Has 7 years experience.

Congrats!! Not in the FNP program but was at MCPHS (Manchester) for their ABSN and overall loved it. :D

Hey! Thank you!! That's great to hear, from what I've read and heard so far the school has an excellent reputation!

Hi Paige! The interview was great! I actually enjoyed it! ! It was through Skype. I assume you applied to the program for a Summer 2016 start? Are you waiting for a response from them? I wish you the best of luck! Post here with updates. :)

I applied for the PMHNP online program at MCPHS that starts in May. I had my interview a week ago and was told I would hear very soon. We will be taking the same classes for the first year. Hoping that finding a clinical placement won't be too difficult!

Hi! I hope you hear some good news soon! They are very attentive and quick when it comes to communicating, which is really nice. I've had very positive experiences so far with admissions. I lined up most of my clinical sites already (and getting a few back ups for the various specialties I need just in case), which made me feel a lot better as my first clinical begins in January. As long as you network you will be ok I'm sure (but it's definitely the most nerve wrecking part). Post an update on here when you hear back! Best of luck!

Hey all!

I just applied to this program as I am concerned that I will not get accepted into my other choices. My question is how long from the time you applied did it take for you to have an interview?

Also, just curious will everyone be applying for Financial aide? 800 a credit is steep, but I have heard great things about this program. I also like that there are only three mandated dates for attendance.

Thanks!

I'll PM you once I get home shortly! Do you have enough posts to private message? Also, do you live in NY?

I received an interview offer within 2 days of them reviewing my application, but I did not have my interview for 3 weeks after that email due to scheduling on their end. I had my interview 2 weeks ago and was told I would hear very soon, but I have not heard anything yet. She did tell me the date of the first orientation though. I am applying for financial aid as well.

FYI, an urgent care Physician that I just saw said to be prepared for a lot of stress bc the program is quite hard. They hire quite a few graduates and say they are well prepared.

I also applied to the PMHNP track at MCPHS but have yet to hear if I'll receive the opportunity to interview. I'm hoping that doesn't mean they're not interested!! How was your interview? I'm hoping to hear something soon. When was the first orientation date? I hope you get good news soon! í ½í¸€
