McFatter LPN Program

Yea I know where it is, I should have posted to correct myself. But I have been busy, I found it online and then remebered the school. I lived south of the school,down the street from Nova U and I am sure you know McFatters is on 595 & Davie Blvd.Thanks for your reply. Lisa

Dark Light, do you still have the Core textbook for sale?

I will be starting the sister school to McFatter in either the end of this month or June 8th. Sheridan Tech on Sheridan St. in Hollywood, FL. But I am considering going to McFatter only b/c they have 2 school shifts and I would MUCH rather go to school in the afternoons than in the morning.

I just finished taking the TEAS today and I passed, I took my drug test today also and all I need is my background check fingerprints done and I'm READY TO START! I'm a lil excited but scared at the same time b/c I'm 5 months pregnant and I'm hoping to start in March instead of June b/c then that way I can get at least 2 terms out of the way before I pop. This baby better come on the weekend that way I can get back in school by Monday and not miss any classes LOL

Hey futurenurse83, I am considering switch schools and I want to know your experience at Mcfatter. I am currently enrolled at school in Dade and it is a nightmare.

Kryztul, how is your experience at Sheridan?

I am currently a student at McFatter and will finish Term 1 this month. Yay!

So far, I am satisfied with the school, staff and the education I am receiving. It's hard but not impossible. If you have specific questions about the program, feel free to send me a PM. I'm more than happy to help you out!

ladymahogany- I really like the program. I feel like I'm learning alot. Its alot of reading but its not too horribly hard. I'm enjoying myself there. My classmates are super nice too. :)

darklight-I started in January too. Are you full time or part time?

I am going full-time. Trying to finish as soon as possible so I can go on to ASN, BSN, etc. I have a long, long way to go.
