MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Published

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.

I bet we will get them tomorrow :nailbiting:. This waiting is awful

I wish they could tell us the last accepted score over the phone. Wish I had connections.

I don't know how true that calculation is, because I know two people who got in the nursing program last year. Using that calculation one student got an 88 and the other an 87. The guy that got an 87 ranked higher than the girl who got an 88. So idk how they calculate it!

The guy that scored an 87 had a 3.5 and a 87 Hesi ranked 119. The girl scored 88 had a 3.6 and a 86 Hesi ranked 125 in the program. The score is based off of the calculation that I read off of here.

Nothing today.....grrrrrrrrrr

I'm really hoping we get our letters tomorrow!

I just left the enrollment office at center campus and the lady who helped me said that the letters were already mailed out. Maybe tomorrow?! It's driving me crazy! She could most likely see my results on the computer and just couldn't tell me. She also said they are not allowed to share any averages this year. Ugh!!

Nothing in my mail today either.

Hopefully tomorrow!

Thanks everyone who has posted and who has called. Hopefully tomorrow is the day! Whoever gets their mail first, please post if you got in and what your scores were even if you posted them before. Just so we know!

I called someone in the nursing department. She told me they are getting mailed out today or tomorrow. If that's true, we'll most likely receive our letters Thursday or Friday. I just don't want to keep waiting!
