So did you get a special list with your letter stating what supplies you will need?

October...no info on what supplies we'll need though.

Got mine in the mail today. August start.

I was supposed to start in October, but I just got a call from the nursing Dept and they said a spot had opened up in the August class, and asked if I'd like to start in August instead! I immediately said "I'll take it!" I'm absolutely giddy!:roll Now I should graduate in May '09 instead of October '09....big relief since I'm getting divorced, am unemployed (stay-at-home mom for the past 7 years), and the kids and I are staying with my parents.

anurse, I spoke with Teri yesterday and she told me we would be getting a book and supply list in the mail sometime next month.

what book?....i start in august....i just bought 8 books already lol....the book list is up on webadvisor.....i still have 6 more to buy....man its expensive....im going to have to sell my first born to pay for school....lol....just kidding incase someone is on the phone right now to social services .....no seriously what book are they sending...im in the dark and hate being there :)

We will apparently be receiving a list of the books and supplies we need to get. I called the Nursing Department office about two weeks ago regarding the book list and someone said that Teri should be mailing them out, but she wasn't sure when. I was at the campus bookstore today and the store manager said they wouldn't have the confirmed list of titles/editions for about two more weeks, even though the store website has been updated...the instructors have until late July to change their mind about any texts.

Can you believe the price of our Fundamentals book...$198.95! I know it includes the text, clinical skills book and a skills CD, but gimme a break!

i know its crazy...i went ahead and bought all the books already...I hope they dont change any....the people at the book store took my list from me and were more than happy to sell them to me without saying anything about them maybe changing....they shouldnt post the fall list if it might not be the list:madface: oh well....i must have money growing on trees...i just wish i could find them lol
