Mayo Nursing Externship Summer III 2019

I applied for the Summer III nursing externship and I just wanted to start this forum to see where everyone is at in the application process.

Hey everyone! I also applied to the program and am looking forward to hearing something soon! Does anyone who has done the program before have any insight into what they make the decisions based on? I have a 3.9 GPA and lots of extra-curriculums, but worried I didn't show my full potential on the essay. Any thoughts would help!

I've gone back and looked at previous forums for past years, and it at least appears like it happens in 2 waves. The first is to find out if they want extra information from you or not (transcripts, unit preferences, etc.). If not, then you're done. That seems to typically be around January 29th-February 2nd. If you do move on to the next phase, it looks like you find out around February 14-17th if you're hired or not. No clue if it will be the same this year or not, but that's how it seems to have been for the past little bit! So it shouldn't be too much longer!!

Has anybody heard anything back from Mayo? I applied for other internships in MN as I am from here and for those I have already had interviews and will get the final word next week. Just curious!
