I applied for the Summer III nursing externship and I just wanted to start this forum to see where everyone is at in the application process.

Oh, it's working now and still says application in review. must've just been my computer!

I haven't heard anything but my application in review date just changed from January 11th when I submitted it to November 1st 2019...I'm not sure what this means though!

Nevermind guys, I refreshed the page again and it went back to normal! Must have just been a little glitch in the system

I went back and looked at old forums and for the past few years people have found out either the 14th or the 15th! Today could be the day and I'm losing my mind! I just want t find out so I can focus my attention on other things I have to do like studying haha!

Yes! I hope it happens today because I am so distracted from studying and everything else, anxiously checking my email every 5 minutes!

I got my email at 10:51 am CST. Last name starts with J.

I was selected as an alternate. They stated over 700 applications were received and they accepted 55 people. Good luck to everyone else!

Edit: I emailed them asking more about the alternate process and am waiting for an email back. I'd like to know how many were chosen and how they choose who will get the alternate positions if one opens up.

Edit 2: Application still says "In review - Jan 16" I'm anticipating it'll stay this way unless something opens up so that they could easily send me the docs if I happen to get accepted.

Does your portal still say application in review?

Hey, I edited my post because I feel like more people would have the same questions. And thank you! Good luck to you as well. I've seen your posts since fall. Hope you get in :D
