Hello, I was wondering if anyone worked at Mayo and could give me some info on the facility and there general opinion.

Well, I don't work at Mayo but had a liver transplant there in 1999. I have one semester to go for RN and was considering working there. I have talked to a few nurses during clinicals at other facilities that have worked there. I can tell you the nurses wear all white and are totally dedicated to pt care. The down side is they are very strict with nurses - no camaradery (sp?) with other nurses . The pay scale is the same for all starting nurses - 21 something an hour. As a new grad that is an OK pay scale - but not for someone with experience.
