Hello! I wanted to create this post to communicate with others that are applying for Mayo Clinic's Summer iii externship. I saw that there were similar posts for previous years, and I would love to get to know others that are applying! Look forward to hearing from you all ?

So I did get an email back about the withdraw button, I was told by Sarah Martin that the withdraw button disappearing isn’t anything significant and that it’s likely just the system moving through the applications. If we get in then we’ll receive an email. So hopefully that eases some anxiety for other people like it did for me! Good luck to everyone and hopefully we’ll know something soon! ?

There is sooo many options but ICU is my top choice.

Congrats guys! I got my email a little after y'all! ? I would love oncology, float, or psych. I want to expose myself in as many areas as possible before graduation, so any placement would be wonderful.

@jackiet are you going to rank all of the specialities like the instructions say or only the ones you want. Because I'm not interested in some of these..

@kimgonza I'll probably rank all of them just in case, but I think I'm going to put the "any of the specialties" last on all of them, since I already ranked the others. I hope that made sense haha. Are you going to put anything in the "Anything else we should know that may assist us in making work area assignments?" section?
