Did anyone apply for this summer externship? I saw a lot of previous threads but none from this year! How do people think the application went?! I'm anxiously waiting!

My school called last week. They are sending out letters by the 1st (so soon!) and your statuses would change from application in review to interview if accepted.

In the other blog last year they found out a lot sooner....I'm taking it as if I didn't get in.

It's a no for me as well I know a few of my classmates at Wisconsin all got the "interview" status. Hey, it was definitely worth the try, knowing how competitive it was this year! I'll just keep trying for something else.

I spoke with LaTasha and she said that they received over 800 applications, so not 2000 like somebody here had stated. Also, she said nobody's status should have changed to interview. You should really wait until letters come out because they are still in the process and if your status still says "application in review" it does not mean anything.

That is very reassuring!! Wonder why the other user stated her peers has changed? Well, I'm still in high spirits then :)
