Mayo Clinic Rochester New Grad Residency Program Summer 2021

Published

Hey everyone, I was just creating this thread to see if anyone has applied to or been accepted to a position at Mayo Clinic in Rochester?! I haven't seen a thread for Rochester specifically so I wanted to make one for those who may or already have been hired in order to network!

Yo! Thanks for starting this thread. I was offered a job this week.

Hell yea, congrats homie! I just interviewed yesterday and felt pretty good about it. What unit did you get an offer from and how long until you heard back from them after you interviewed??

Thanks for making this! I was hoping if anyone knew about housing and safe places to live. I’m hoping to find a roomate since I’m coming from Colorado. I just heard back from MICU 2 with a job offer ?

Aayyyy just got a call with an official job offer for the Neuro/Neurosurgery ICU spot. I am most likely going to accept it! Let’s gooo fellas, I’m super hyped

That's what's up dog! ?.

When do you graduate and when do you start?

Graduate may 8th and start July 20th!

Right on! My offer is on a medical gastro floor (DO6D). I've had a few other job offers closer to home, but leaning am towards this position.

For sure for sure. The starting pay, benefits, and relocation aid is very beneficial, and the new grad program here I’ve heard is top notch. Which is mainly why I’m accepting it, but it’s culture seems super supportive and fun, and it also helps it’s the #1 hospital in the country ?

What were you told regarding the relocation aid?

They told me I qualified for a couple grand of relocation aide, I have a couple more questions I think I’d want to ask, but from what I’ve read in the Mayo forums, it sounds like a pretty sweet add on an benefit
