I was called today to set up an interview with Mayo for later this month. Does anyone know specifics? Like, how is the interview structured? Also, I'm coming from about 6 hrs away, do they pay your hotel expenses?

Your expenses for the interview are your own. I worked for the Mayo Clinic in Florida years ago..VERY nice place. Don't know which Mayo you are interviewing at but they are EXTREMELY professional and have high expectations of how staff is to look and behave so definitely wear business attire, bring an extra copy of your resume and any other certifications etc. just in case. When I interviewed it was one on one - not this new "group" interview process. They pay competitively. Good luck!

You may want to read the threads in the Arizona forum or do a search. There are a few threads in the AZ forum. Good luck!
I am interviewing for the Mayo in Rochester. They will pay for me to drive there & my food expenses.

i live outside rochester, but don't work at Mayo. I've graduated with many who do though- from what i've heard they don't pay your expenses. i took my NCLEX in Rochester, and i stayed at the Micro-tel. its like 50$ a night or something, (basically cheap) and actually VERY clean and decent. i was a little skeptical in staying in something so cheap, but very pleased at how clean and well taken care of it was.
It is 5-10 minutes from Mayo Clinic and if i remember correctly they actually had a shuttle as parking at Mayo is terrible.
Best of luck! :)
