Anyone else starting May 1st with me? I'm doing the RN to BSN program. I can hardly wait and excited to start orientation (Education without Borders) next week on April 15th! I haven't been this excited since nursing school. :) I'm such a nerd.

I starting May 1st too! Just paid my tuition tonight (ouch) but looking forward to orientation next week! GL everyone!

Yay! I'm so happy they sorted out your college transcripts (with the school names). :) The application process can be so painful waiting. It all starts with the readiness exam. It was torturous waiting for my results. ;) I have to say that overall the application process with my enrollment counselor was superb, timely, supportive, and well organized. really wants to make sure it's a good fit and I value that.

I paid my tuition on Friday (yikes), so now I am simply waiting until the 15th rolls around so the EWB course become available. I know I said this before, but I am so excited to be learning something new!

Specializes in Utilization Management; Case Management.

I will be starting June 1st! I've been looking for someone also starting the program. There is so much info/posting about RN-BSN and MSN but nothing much on MBA healthcare. Looking forward to following/sharing the journey!!

Is it true that no NP programs take the degree?

My enrollment counselor was great! All in all, I thought the whole process went well. I am helping at a conference tomorrow all day so will have to wait til tomorrow evening before I get a chance to look at Education without Boundaries. Here's to hoping we all get great mentors!!

Is it true that no NP programs take the WGU degree?
This is not true. Many reputable NP programs have accepted the BSN degree from for transfer credits. Many NP programs will accept the degree because you will receive a 3.0 grade point average, which is acceptable for graduate school admissions. Here's a list of schools that have accepted the degree in the past.

You can add University of Memphis, TN to this list. I was accepted last year before I even finished my BSN at . I'm now in my second semester.

Ok that's awesome and good to know!! The next question would be are people actually getting hired from the schools who accept ? By the list you've provided I'm going to assume yes! There's lot of rumors saying people aren't getting hired but rumors are rumors I don't always believe them, thus my research. I'm looking to advance to a FNP or DNP. I am looking forward to enrolling in WGU once I'm hired. I'm a baby nurse so you all know more than me :)

We can also add Frontier Nursing University to the list. One of my former schoolmates completed her BSN degree at and was accepted to Frontier.
