Hello all, I am in an LVN-RN bridge program and I got a 87.5% on my math competency test ?. That is failure it has to be above a 90%! I get two more chances after this but, my professor said that each test will increase in difficulty and you only have to pass one of them.( So all the students who passed the easy first test will stay in the program even if they fail the harder ones since you only need to pass on of them. Doesn't make any sense to me! )Anyways do you have any advice on what I can do to pass It this time? Websites ,books study habits, advice anything will help. Thank you

The fact you had a specific number of times to test was known to you, I believe. You mentioned it on your first post. Once again, you know the math. Continue with the confidence you have practiced, met with a tutor and improved. You have encountered tougher things as an LPN. You will do well.
If the intrusive thoughts and anxiety break in, stop a moment. Shout in your head "STOP!"; I know this, I can do this. (breaks the cycle of panicky thoughts). Slow, deep breaths, repeat I can do this with each breath several times, until the "failure" thoughts quite swirling. Then go back to the question.
This is a mental exercise, modified from several sources.
