Congrats Genny96! I also applied to Massasoit for the evening program. 82% on TEAS and GPA 3.31 Only nursing program that I applied to. The next few weeks will be a killer, but....... for those of you that are current students, or have graduated from MCC, you can stalk the My Massasoit portal. If your current program changes to "nursing" then you have the golden ticket. I would stalk during the first week of May just prior to letters being sent out. It will relieve the anxiety a bit. Good luck to everyone!! I hope you all get accepted!!

Thanks! I will start checking next week....although I am grateful for the quincy college acceptance...I am still hoping for a cheaper alternative....I am feeling positive vibes for all of us :-D

Ummmm.. is it me or did their Rubric change? I just checked out their site and I don't remember that being the Rubric when I applied?! I'm confused.....

It appears to be the same one they gave us at orientation.....

Sorry I meant...information session

The one I got at info session gave you 9 pts for essay and 1 pt for an allied health cert/associates degree. If you go on their site now, the rubric isn't the same.

Im sorry, but where do you see it because I went to the website, under admissions I acess the forms for allied health and I got the nursing rubric....I checked the point for essay and it's 9 and 1 point for allied cert and 2 for bachelor's degree or higher....

Admissions, selective admissions, nursing education rubric. It is dated February 2014. This is definitely not the same rubric we went over in our information session. This one is only a total of 43 points, I believe the one I had was around 62 points. This gives 5 points for letter of recommendation, ours gave 0. Hope they don't use this one!

oh wow! I am going to call admissions because I did not submit a letter based off of the rubric we received at the info session....this changes a lot of things

I just noticed that the one that you are looking at it is the "CANTON ALLIED HEALTH ADMISSIONS RUBRIC" you would see it on top....the one that was given to us at the information sessions was the correct one it is "NURSE EDUCATION PROGRAM RUBRIC"...that's why it is different scores allotted for different categories....

AAAAAH!!! Phew!! They really should fix that. If people access the rubric that way instead of the way that you did, it is going to confuse people!. I got scared for a moment.. Thank you for pointing that out.

I doubt I will be accepted. I was told there were 100 applicants for the evening program =(
