Hi Doreen314! I don't know much about the evening program, but I wish you the best of luck! I also wanted to apply to Curry for the full-time day program but they said they haven't accepted transfer student in three years. I'm taking chemistry right now and love it! I was also thinking about Quincy college, but hopefully we all get into Massasoit and don't have to worry about applying anywhere else :)
hi everyone. I think my rubric was 48. but thats with adding 9 points to essay. Which I am really really good at. So i don't have a doubt about essay. I do have doubts about my gpa. Time will tell. From what I read online in past nursing classes of massasoit it looks like most nursing students received their acceptance letters around may 7-10. If so, thats about 3 weeks from today! I am keeping my fingers crossed for all of us! I applied for the day program and they only accept 10 of us so my chances are slightly lowered. I'm an LPN. so we jump in with 2nd year nursing students from last year. Its only 9 months for us so this time next year I could be taking finals and getting ready for pinning!! I applied to RCC and wasn't accepted. I didn't apply to quincy. No chemistry and really not interested in taking it either. BHSON is not an associates degree in nursing. its a certificate in nursing, with an associates in liberal arts. Not sure how that plays out if you try to apply to umass for bsn. I have lots of friends who graduated from salem state lpn to bsn program and even they cannot find jobs with bsn. a lot of hospitals in boston are now looking for masters. or bachelors with at least 5 years experience. but fingers crossed for local jobs in smaller hospitals for us ladies and gents! the waiting for this letter is awful.

The applications for Quincy and curry aren't even due until June 1- the program doesn't start until next january. So hopefully we will know by then, and maybe I won't need to apply to them! After reading all the posts on this website, it looks difficult to get in, and in some cases it didn't make sense why one was rejected-which makes me real nervous. So I am planning on applying to curry and Quincy-hoping at least one will take me- I still have to take chemistry before I can even apply to Quincy- I signed up for one of those 7 week classes that starts in a couple of weeks and it ends in May-just enough time to get my application in.
