Hi All,

I applied for Massasoits LPN to RN program for spring 2020. I got an email yesterday for log-in info to the Massasoit Student portal. But I haven't received a letter stating my acceptance or denial. Has anyone heard anything?> Do you know when we should expect the letters?

I also got a letter saying my financial aid application wouldn't be processed until I enrolled into a degree eligible program... but can't do that until I hear back. SO frustrating! They were the ones who said to fill out the financial aid application prematurely.

I just called (again) because I’m so impatient ? they said they should be sending the letters in a week or so.

They are now saying decisions won’t be made until after the holiday !

Wow! At this point I'm wondering if they're waiting for this semester's grades to close in order to have enough eligible applications. Finals are next week at Massasoit. Crazy.

Seriously !! This is crazy. She said classes start around the 20th of January so we don’t get much notice... she said they’re reviewing them now.

that is so ridiculous. How are we supposed to prepare in that little of time.. I'm sure we will have reading to do, and tons of supplies to purchase. Not to mention figure out work schedules

Wow that is absurd! Nothing like potentially starting off nursing school completely stressed out with no time to prepare. Not to mention my work schedule is already out until February. I hope they were not serious when they said that about waiting until after the holidays. I guess I shouldn't stress because either way I have to make it work but it really is inconvenient and disappointing how they continue to handle this program. This is not the first year they have waited until the last minute.

Hi all,

I applied to the lpn-rn night program. Yesterday I got a email that said welcome to massasoit (I have never taken classes at massasoit before). The email prompted me to set up a account. I set up a account and looked at degree works and it stated non degree student. I called the school and they said we should be getting our letters next week. I asked about the email and the receptionist said she couldn’t give me anymore information. When I looked at degree works this morning it said my major was lpn- RN part time. Does this mean I’m in or that’s just the major I applied for?? This wait is killing me! Any information is so helpful.

@Jc1234 I received the same email weeks ago. Nothing is loaded onto my degree works. Sounds like you’re in though! ?
