I have been a licensed Massag Theapist for just over four years now, and I absolutely love it. I was drawn to the health care industry and helping to heal people. After learning about the different types of alternative theapies that are being utilized more often, I thought that I would also like to learn more about Western Medicine. I have found that having training in massage has made me more able to see past the medical issues the person is suffering from and to be able to use compassionate touch to help with the healing process. I think that massage and nursing go hand in hand and both modalities compliment each other nicely. I was wondering if anybody else has had any types of experience with healing touch or alternative healing mixed with general Western medicine. I would LOVE to hear personal experiences ...
Thanks guys,
Dana
