massachusetts nclex-pn ?'s

Published

just wondering if anyone from mass has taken the NCLEX-PN recently if you wouldnt mind answering a few questions for me.

*How long did it take for you to get an appt. (from when the paperwork left your hands)

*What was a topic that kept coming up in questions(instructors said it may be steroids, since the whole baseball scandel wasnt to long ago, they say a topic thats popular is usually on there a few times)

* What lab values were important to know

* were there many med question?were they specific(like an actual drug name) or just the classification you'd use?

*what are some things you wish you would have paid more attention to while preparing for it?

* what are things you wish you had known now that you have gone through it

Id really appreciate any answers from anyone- people from mass and people that have taken it already! THANKS!!

Since there is no way to predict the computer driven presentation of questions based on your previous answers, it is best to not waste time trying to "psych" out the test. You need to be adequately prepared to answer any question on the subject matter of the test. Get one of the review books, many use Saunders Comprehensive Review, and start answering as many questions as possible and study the rationales. Do this for one to three months prior to your appointment and you should do well. Good luck.
