Marquette Direct Entry MSN 2018

Hey guys, I didn't see a thread for Marquette's direct entry MSN program for fall 2018 so I figured I'd start one. I just submitted my app for the PP location today for their spring admission, but I am also applying to Marquette's traditional program for fall 2018. Do they review applications based off date submitted or date verified?

Hope to start school with some of you soon!

Anyone here accepted or applying for the August 2018 Pleasant Prairie cohort? I am finishing up my application now.

If we are accepted for the Summer 2018 Milwaukee cohort, do we apply for the 2018-2019 FAFSA or the 2017-2018 FAFSA?

knurse1234 I'm guessing it would be the 2018-2019 FAFSA because I filed the 2017-2018 one for my last year of undergrad that I'm in right now and specified that I might be attending Marquette when I filed the 2018-2019 FAFSA

The FAO at Marquette told me to add Marquette to both the 2017-18 and the 2018-19 FAFSA. They said the Summer semester (the semester starting the program) will use the 17-18 FAFSA and the rest of the semesters will use 18-19

Has anyone received an admissions decision since the holidays? I submitted my application December 5th and am hoping to hear soon!

Nope :( I was told that more admissions would be going out after the holidays but I still haven't heard anything. I submitted my app on October 19 :/

Hi all!

I have applied for the Milwaukee campus start for this coming May. I had my app completed end of November and I'm still anxiously waiting an acceptance! I read somewhere that a decision will be made 4-6 weeks after you submit, anyone think there's any merit to that?

Also, I'm currently finishing my undergrad degree, my cum GPA is a 3.6. I've worked in an ER, on my campus student health center and I'm currently a CNA. I'll be completing 2 pre-req's for this program this spring semester. I plan on applying for the PP site fall start if I don't get into the Milwaukee site. Since I'm finishing my undergrad so close to the program start, anyone think I have a chance? I'm super anxious about my plans if I don't get into a graduate school program at the timing I'd prefer.

Hi! Did you get an email from the university to your personal email you had linked to your app? I've logged onto my supp app and my CheckMarq but haven't seen any changes on my app status.

Yeah for me they sent a notification to my personal email something that says "a new update has been posted to your application" and then my letter was on my supplemental app.

I submitted it on Nov 21 and I think I received my email Mid December. It was just an email saying there's an update to my app
