Heya! I just submitted my application two weeks ago. Have you heard back yet?
Hi EmilyMona! I heard back Feb 5th ? but I know that they are starting to send out decisions.
Great to hear! How long from when you submitted your app till when you heard back?

I don't think this is the right message board term for me. I applied for the Marquette Direct Entry at the main MKE campus that starts in May (Summer term).
I was initially on the waitlist, but received word that I've been accepted. Couldn't be more thrilled. So just know that it is possible to get in from the list and don't get too disheartened. After a month of waiting I'm in!

Alright, I have been accepted to both Marquette and Alverno DEMSN. Alverno awards you with both a BSN and an MSN, while you get a RN licensure from Marquette and a MSN.
Does anyone know if when applying for beside RN jobs, preferably at hospitals, if having the edu from Marquette vs. Alverno are equally competitive? I like Marquette slightly better but I also need to be sure that I will be able to find a bedside nursing job fairly soon after graduate to get experience before practicing as an NP.
If anyone has some insight it is greatly appreciated!

All of my classmates were able to secure a job before or shortly after graduation from Marquette. Quite a few also were able to land specialty departments as well. The students who really got what they wanted in terms of specialties worked as a extern or networked to be in those positions. Marquette's program really seems to be what you make of it.

It is probably a bit early, but if anyone is looking for a room, I will have one available in a 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment in Pleasant Prairie. The apartment complex and I are pretty quiet. Just message me if you're interested.
