  1. Check schools that accept WUE students (Western Undergraduate Exchange). That can save you some $ in tuition.
  2. It is probably a bit early, but if anyone is looking for a room, I will have one available in a 2 bedroom / 2 bath apartment in Pleasant Prairie. The apartment complex and I are pretty quiet. Just message me if you're interested.
  3. I am currently in the Marquette Distance Learning Direct Entry MSN. I do really like it. The practical part is on campus in Pleasant Prairie and the theoretical on line. It's challenging but definitely rewarding. The staff is really supportive and wants you to succeed.
  4. I also have a BS in Public Health. I then applied for Direct Entry Masters in Nursing and I am currently in a program. I will still start as a new RN, but I have more options going forward. It made more sense to me than getting another B.S.
  5. My nutrition 101 class from my B.S. was not accepted either. I retook the class at the local community college after confirming with the advisor that it was accepted. Make sure the description includes "across the lifespan".
  6. Are they only checking for defaults or is the amount you owe part of the decision making?
  7. Hello all, I also applied yesterday and I am new to the field. Good luck everyone
  8. Log on to CheckMarq and select Student Account. From there you can make a payment. Looking forward to meeting all of you in August.
  9. Just got the email that I am waitlisted.
  10. I toured PP in January and it was worth seeing the area (I'm from WA) and talk to all the employees. I was hoping that a few of us can rent an apartment together. I was thinking Kenosha or a bit more north to be closer to the main campus for resources. What are you all thinking?
  11. I received my acceptance this morning as well. I'll be joining from WA. I toured the area on Monday and are looking to relocate either to Kenosha or possibly closer to Milwaukee. I got a great tour of the area and might be able to answer some questions.
  12. I have applied for the 2020 PP Hybrid program. Any tips that you could give me regarding living situation, classes etc? What do you wish you had known a year ago?
  13. I applied in December and am waiting to hear back. Where else did you apply? Which state are you from?
