Maricopa Timestamps from current placement

Hi everyone! I have been lurking here a loooong time and finally decided to make an account.I applied to the Maricopa program and got an October 2015 timestamp. I am trying to determine what my chances are for getting into the Fall 2016 cohort.

So, for all of you that got placed for Spring 2016, what are (were) your timestamps? I am trying to see where they left off so I can figure out if I have a shot. Thanks!

Although I am in for CEP, they also took me off the waitlist for spring and my timestamp was August 2014. If you have a lot of options, you may have a good chance. I know some of the other timestamps have been placed for spring and they were from June 2015. Places like Scottsdale, Mesa, Phoenix will have more openings than Glendale, Estrella, or any of the evening /weekend programs.

I second what AZBlueBell said. I could have sworn I saw someone say they had a timestamp of August 2015 and got placed for spring but not 100% sure on that. You can get an idea if you go through the other posts.

Yes, I definitely saw a few people with August time stamps get placed for Spring, but I wonder how far into August they got. My Oct timestamp is 8:00:24, so I am not too far into October. This not knowing is killing me!

We all can relate to the unknown being killer :p

I think if you are open to the campuses that have higher number of spots available you should be placed for fall. Like states above, the smaller schools and evening weekend campuses will take longer to get in.

What schools are you open to?

My first choice is Mesa mornings, second is Mesa afternoons, third is CGC, and fourth is Gateway Accelerated. I tried to choose schools with a lot of openings. I reeeally want my first or second choice though! I am admittedly a little nervous about CGC because of the rumors. What school did you get into?

Oo I think you will get placed. I would be very surprised if you didn't.

I'm a CEP student and I'm starting at GCC evening this January :)

Mine was 6/5/2015 and I start in January as well. The more options you put, the higher chance you'll be placed quick. I'm just insanely grateful that I only had to wait 5 months. Old posts on here had the wait at 2-3 years! I think I would have died to have to wait that long.

I hope you're right! I would do CEP but I will be one class short come application time. I figure I will take the class and apply for the BSN a year into the ASN program. I talked to the MCC advisor and she told me the prerequisites are exactly the same, as is the program. Waiting that extra year for the BSN will help me financially too.

I wish I had seen people with August 2015 time stamps post they had been placed and where! I have one of the first August time stamps and haven't been placed yet.
