Maricopa Nursing CEP 2019 (Applicants for April 1st - May 31st)

There is already a post for CEP 2019 Summer Start so I figured I would make a new post for those applying next round. I am curious to see how many people plan to apply and how competitive this round will be.

I am applying to PVCC/NAU with 84 points. Thank you to those who participate and good luck next round! ????

MCC has already started to go out. Letters will still go out until July 8th if those who have been accepted fail to send in their contracts/withdraw. If your score was high then there are other factors that could have contributed to your acceptance, EX: incomplete acceptance, or not directly applying at 1st choice school.

Yes, I was accepted on Monday, MCC/ASU.

Have any of you received confirmation informing your contract was received? I was accepted to GWCC/ASU and sent my contract in yesterday but I have not received confirmation and I am worried it was not received.

Yes, the admin specialist at MCC sent me a confirmation email the day after I sent it to him but I had asked him to let me know if there were any issues with the attachment.

I sent mine an hour after receiving it Monday to my school (PVCC) and never got a confirmation back. I double checked that it was sent and that the attachment was correct to I’m not too worried. I’m guessing they are busy right now with the letters just going out. They should be sending us more info soon once the denial letters went out to everyone else and they get their final list together.

Im really starting to think I wont get in , the advisors i dealt with at GWC gave me minimal information nor did they give me any pointers or a heads up about whats considered a competitive score. Anyway I tried my best Im a current senior at ASU I initially was going for their program but its too competitive so im giving this a shot. For some reason some of my As from ASU courses transferred over as Bs to gateway , apparently an A- equals a B even though they were 92/93 ... bummed because it messed up my GPA . So I applied with a 3.4 GPA and an overall hesi score of 87.6 (94 math, english comp 85.33) super nervous . has anyone heard back yet? GOODLUCK EVERYONE !

Nope I haven't heard back either and I applied to GWCC/UIU. I scored an over all 90 on the hesi with 92 in math and 89.33 in English. My GPA is currently 3.3.

Did you calculate yours points? My GPA was close to yours, and when my english score was around an 89, my points ended up being closer to 78 or 79. I'm not sure what the cut off was this round, nor what GWCC's lowest score was, but I know MCC's lowest score last intake was an 82. But don't lose hope yet, there is still a chance! And it seems the scores were a bit lower this intake than last.

Yea this is the most nerve-racking thing ever , I just wish my As transferred over as As as they should have ? because then my score would've been 80.4 instead of 78.9

All I got so far was an email from ASU on the 25th saying they received my application , which I thought was weird but nothing from gateway or MCC yet .
