Hi All,
A quick question. Has anyone compiled a complete list of the scheduled days of school and clincal days for the Community Colleges? I think this would be invaluable to those who are trying to make their choices or wanting to change their choices on their application. If anyone knows where a list like that exists, could you please post it?
Thanks All.

it would be invaluable, however unless its a part-time program or some other special program, clinicals and classes vary from school to school and semester to semester....for instance, in my cohort we have three groups scattered across three hospitals, four diferent times and four days (which arent always sequential); we weren't even told of the days/times of our clinicals until two weeks before we started and the times/days are going to change again next semester

How are so many people able to just be available "whenever?" Im so struggling with how Im ever going to proceed with not having a set schedule and even then a set schedule could mean 5 am.....I don't know how so many people do it, especially those with children.

you can use this site to search for and print the clinical schedules that have been setup so far this year by school....B1=block one...which is the first semester work....most seem to have clinicals between 6a-4p WR with classes at the colleges mostly on MT (at least from what I can tell based on past semesters)....try just printing the clinical schedules of the schools you are interested in between 8/24 and 12/31 to get a good idea...anything that species B1, as long as it doesn't specify Banner or BNF it usually is a public class....from what I figured:
CGCC: 10/14-12/9 6:30-3p T and
10/30-12/11 6:30-3p R or 10/31-12/12 F
EMCC: 11/3-12/9 6:30-2:30p MT
GWCC: 9/6-12/20 6:45-7:15p S or
10/20-10/28, 11/3-11/17, 11/24-12/2 6/6:45-2:25/3:15p MW or
10/22-10/30, 11/5-11/13, 11/19-12/4 6:45-3:15p WR
GCC: weekend day 9/6-12/13 6:30-1p S or
traditional 9/11-12/11 6:30-1p R
MCC-Boswell: divided into 6 groups with variations of either
7-11a or 12-4p WR from 9/3-9/11, 9/17-9/25 and
6-2:30p WR or FS from 10/15or17-11/20or22 and
6-2:30p W or F 12/3 or 12/5
MCC: 10/15-12/11 6:30-2:30p WR or
1-/15-12/11 2-10p WR (very few spots for this)
PC: 9/17-12/11 6:30-2:30p WR or
9/18-12/12 6:30-2:30p WR (very few spots)
RIO: 11/10-12/16 6:45-3:30p MT or
11/5-11/20, 12/3-12/18 6:45-3:30p WR
SCC: 9/23-11/4, 11/18-12/2 6:30-4p T (not many spots) or
10/6-11/3, 11/10-12/8 6/6:30-2:30/4p M and
9/26-10/24, 10/31-11/21, 12/5 6/6:30-2:30/3:30/4p F
OY lot of work that was...hope it helps:bugeyes:

I agree with Irishman..They change it up until the last minute- You never know what to expect- They just changed times at SCC for one of the groups to a 1-8 (or something like that) shift at the last minute.. It is difficult to get it all covered.. You need to have back up plans for your back up plans.. I have neighbors, family, (husband does most work with the kids), babysitters all on "stand-by". I secured sat daycare for my summer program about a year ahead of time, and who knows if that will fall apart (cause anything can happen) so I have back ups for that!!
